Each of these prints has been produced by hand, from the initial designing and cutting of the lino to the inking and printing. As a result, each print is unique with its own character and distinguishing marks.
This print is based on a wonderful Staffordshire Flatback figure - earthenware or porcelain figures produced from the 18th Century onwards and usually made to be displayed on mantle pieces - hence the term flatback! ‘Tenderness’ is based on an original figurine, focusing on compassion for each other and the world around us. Available in two different colours!
