Dudley Tectons - Original Handmade Linocut Print
£9.50
"DUDLEY TECTONS" Linocut by Ella Flavell
Size: 14.8 cm x 10.5 cm (A6)
Hand printed and finished. Includes the artist's signature, the work's title and the print number. Printed onto 140gsm white card.
Each of these prints has been produced by hand, from the initial designing and cutting of the lino to the inking and printing. As a result, each print is unique with its own character and distinguishing marks.
This print celebrates some hidden icons of British modernist architecture - the tecton structures that form some of the original enclosures of Dudley Zoo. Designed by Berthold Lubetkin in the 1930s, they’ve become local (and international!) icons.
