Coventry Cathedral is one of Britain's most iconic architectural gems. When the medieval cathedral of St Michael's was destroyed in the Coventry blitz, the city looked to rebuild a brand new building. Basil Spence was eventually chosen as the architect, and his new, modernist cathedral represented post-war optimism. The marriage of the two buildings and the hope they represent is celebrated in this print.
